2 Men Killed Outside Eatery Are Identified
From Times Staff Reports
Authorities Friday identified two men who were fatally shot outside a Compton restaurant this week.
Danny Fendley, 36, and Joe Barbosa, 39, were shot in a parked car outside the restaurant about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Police don’t know the motive for the shootings, and there have been no arrests.
Josefina Salas, the owner of the restaurant in the 4800 block of East Rosecrans Avenue, said the two men had eaten tacos and talked for more than an hour at an outdoor table. A few minutes later customers heard gunshots.
