Couple to Be Charged in Daughter’s Chaining

A Fullerton couple were ordered Tuesday to stand trial on false-imprisonment charges for allegedly chaining their 21-year-old daughter to a bed for seeing a married man with three children.
David Mata, 53, and Guadalupe Mata, 51, will appear for arraignment on the charges, along with a misdemeanor battery count against the father, on Aug. 5.
