Senate Sorcery

Re “Senate Strikes a Blow in the Energy Battle,” March 22: Those cowards in the Senate. Why don’t they just repeal the laws of thermodynamics once and for all? Then we could have perpetual motion, and all our energy needs would be taken care of. I believe King Canute once did something similar.
