2 Washington Principals to Join School District
The Simi Valley school board has hired two principals from schools in Washington state.
Deborah R. Riley, principal of Lowell Elementary in Everett, Wash., and Sherrie Sadanaga, a principal in Richland, Wash., will start in the Simi Valley Unified School District this fall. Their assignments have not been determined. Riley has 17 years of experience as a principal, including a decade at the University of Memphis Campus School, a professional development school for teachers in Tennessee. Sadanaga has worked in Richland for three years and has a background in special education.
