A London hotel fails to charm
Writer Mona Molarsky recommended the Columbia Hotel in London in “Kidding Around With the Bard in London” (Aug. 18), saying it was a trip back in time. My wife and I just got back from London and stayed there. The walls were paper thin. All the rooms faced the busy highway, so we got no sleep.
The only plus was the price of the room. If this was the reason for choosing the hotel, why didn’t you mention it?
