Jackson dangles baby from room

Singer Michael Jackson briefly dangled a barefoot baby over the railing of his fourth-floor hotel window Tuesday in Berlin, providing a momentary if odd thriller for fans waiting below.

Jackson, who testified in a Santa Maria, Calif., courtroom last week, is due to receive an award at a ceremony in the German capital Thursday night. Greeted by screaming fans when he arrived at his hotel, the entertainer went to his room, opened his window and held a baby, a white towel over the infant’s head, over the metal railing. Jackson also showed off another child who was about 4 or 5 years old.

A spokeswoman for Jackson confirmed he was traveling with his children.
