Eco-Garden Gala Set for Saturday

The city is sponsoring its first Eco-Garden Gala from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Civic Arts Plaza Park, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd.
A compost workshop will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by others on raised-bed organic gardening, integrated pest management, xeriscape residential gardening, vermicomposting, and rose and fruit tree pruning.
Children’s activities are scheduled 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
