Blowtorch Used to Take Money From ATMs

Two ATMs were emptied of an undetermined amount of cash Thursday when a blowtorch was used to break into the cash machines, Santa Ana police said.
The robbery took place at the Bank of America kiosk in the 2200 block of South Grand Avenue about 4 a.m., police said.
Investigators do not know how many suspects were involved or how much money was taken.
There was no video surveillance of the ATMs.
