Interim County Registrar Rodermund Is Appointed to the Job Permanently
Steven Rodermund, Orange County’s interim registrar for almost a year, has been named to the job permanently.
Rodermund performed admirably while managing the October recall election, Orange County Executive Officer James D. Ruth said in a written statement announcing the appointment Friday.
Rodermund was hired as a budget analyst for the county in 1997.
In 2001 Rodermund was promoted to chief deputy registrar and then to interim registrar after Rosalyn Lever retired Dec. 31, 2002.
Rodermund holds a bachelor’s degree from Park College in Missouri and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.
