Families Mourn Victims of Pan Am Flight Attack

Relatives of people killed in the terrorist attack on Pan Am Flight 103 gathered at Arlington National Cemetery to mark the 15th anniversary of the plane’s downing.
The plane bound for New York from London blew up in midair over Lockerbie, Scotland, on Dec. 21, 1988. Eleven people on the ground and 259 people on the plane were killed.
A Libyan man was convicted of bombing the flight, while a second Libyan man was acquitted.
