University President to Leave Post in June
From Times Wire Reports
Tomas Arciniega, president of Cal State Bakersfield, is stepping down in June, university officials said. A search will begin in January to replace him.
Search committee members say they will look for a good fundraiser with a high profile to replace Arciniega, who has been at the university for 21 years.
The search committee’s only public meeting will be from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. on Jan. 13 in the Albertson Room of the Dor Theatre in Bakersfield.
