Loyola Marymount (6-4) at Cal State Fullerton (4-4), 7, KWRM (1370), KXLU-FM (88.9) -- Loyola has lost four of its last five and is coming off a disappointing loss at Long Beach State. The Lions won’t have shooting guard Wes Wardrop, who suffered a strained muscle in his left foot against the 49ers and could be out for at least two games. Center Chris Ayer will return after sitting out a game with a stomach virus. Fullerton tries to complete a winning non-conference schedule for the first time in five years. Point guard Bobby Brown and forward Anthony Bolton are on a tear. Brown is averaging 19.3 points over the last six games, and Bolton is averaging 19 points and nine rebounds over the last three.

Colgate (5-4) at Long Beach State (2-6), 7:30 -- After playing its best game of the season in a victory over Loyola Marymount, the 49ers played one of their worst Saturday in a lopsided loss to Sacramento State. Forward Kevin Roberts has recorded three consecutive double-doubles and leads Long Beach in scoring (14.4) and rebounding (8.6). Colgate is led by senior forward Howard Blue, who averages 17.2 points and 5.6 rebounds. It is the first meeting between the teams.

Lafayette (8-2) at Cal State Northridge (3-4), 7 -- Northridge returns home after being snowbound in Salt Lake City and unable to play at Montana on Saturday. The Matadors are 3-0 at home. With junior forward Eto Onyenegecha entering the starting lineup upon his return from academic ineligibility, freshman center Thomas Shewmake will come off the bench. Shewmake has been a surprise with a 10-point scoring average on 58% shooting. Lafayette had won eight in a row until Sunday night at USC, where the Leopards gave up the first 19 points in the loss.

Women

No. 18 Ohio State (8-1) at UCLA (4-5), 7, Pauley Pavilion, KIIS (850) -- The Bruins don’t have much time to ponder Sunday’s loss to USC because Ohio State will require all their attention. The Buckeyes, who have won four straight since their lone loss to Nebraska, rolled into Santa Barbara on Sunday and ended the Gauchos’ 27-game home winning streak, second longest in the nation. It also was the first road win for Ohio State this season. Redshirt junior Caity Matter (15.9) is Ohio State’s leading scorer.
