11 Wounded in Israeli Missile Attack on Car
From Times Wire Reports
An Israeli helicopter fired two missiles at a car carrying Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip, wounding at least 11 people. Israel’s military said the targets were “senior Hamas terrorists ... actively engaged in planning terror attacks.”
Hamas officials said one of the people in the car was Jamal Jara, a mid-level commander. It was not clear if he was among the wounded. A Hamas leader threatened retaliation.
A crowd of hundreds of angry Palestinians gathered around the heavily damaged vehicle.
