2 Bank Guards Held in Fatal Bombing
From Times Wire Reports
Two security guards were detained in connection with a weekend bombing that flattened a bank building in Lagos, Nigeria, killing at least 46 people, authorities said.
The two worked for a security company that guarded the Prudent Bank, a senior bank official said. Six other people, including the bank manager, who were arrested earlier for questioning have been released, Lagos police said. Authorities are considering a number of motives for the blast, including whether it was part of a plot to rob the bank.
