A Healthy Twist
Sen. John Breaux (D-La.) has the Medicare solution almost correct (“Bush’s Medicare Plan Sparks Skepticism in Both Parties,” Jan. 30). He says a Medicare drug proposal should be patterned after the drug benefit members of Congress receive. The true answer is that members of Congress should all be enrolled in Medicare as their standard medical plan. When they are using the same plan as everyone else, I have this feeling that coming up with a drug plan won’t be nearly so hard.
