New men for a new ‘Man Show’
Comedy Central is said to be close to signing comedian Doug Stanhope to join Joe Rogan as the new co-hosts of the cable network’s “The Man Show.”
Rogan, host of NBC’s “Fear Factor,” and Stanhope would replace Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla, the show’s original creators and hosts. Kimmel now has his own late-night talk show on ABC, and Carolla is his occasional sidekick.
A spokesperson for Comedy Central said the network is looking at an August launch for the newly configured “The Man Show.”
