Stabbing Victim Undergoes Surgery

A 37-year-old man who was stabbed at a vacant Port Hueneme storefront underwent surgery at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, police said.
Antonio Samante was found semiconscious and with stab wounds to his chest and face in the 200 block of East Channel Islands Boulevard about 8 p.m. Sunday, police said. Port Hueneme police said they knew of no motive for the attack.
