Murray’s Goals Lead Bruins
Glen Murray scored twice and set up another goal against his former team and the Boston Bruins beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, 4-1, Thursday night at Pittsburgh.
Murray twice beat Penguin goalie Sebastien Caron with long shots.
Boston ended a five-game road losing streak.
Colorado 5, Columbus 0 -- Derek Morris, Steven Reinprecht and Adam Foote scored power-play goals and the Avalanche beat the Blue Jackets at Denver.
Phoenix 7, Calgary 1 -- Rookie Ramzi Abid scored twice during the Coyotes’ four-goal first period to beat the Flames at Calgary, Canada.
Chicago 3, St. Louis 3 -- Dallas Drake scored the Blues’ third goal, completing their comeback from a three-goal deficit at Chicago.
Ottawa 3, Atlanta 3 -- Brad Tapper scored with 3:49 left in regulation and the Thrashers tied the Senators at Atlanta.
New York Rangers 4, Nashville 2 -- The Rangers scored three goals within 2 1/2 minutes at the end of the first period to win at Nashville.
