Propane Truck Crashes, Explodes, Killing Driver
From Times Wire Reports
A truck hauling propane gas plunged from a freeway overpass and exploded, killing the driver and cutting a power line serving 1,100 customers, authorities said.
The tanker was headed west on Interstate 69 in Flint shortly after midnight when it struck a set of guardrails, state police Sgt. Richard Arnold said. The truck dropped 35 feet onto railroad tracks, Arnold said. The truck burned for several minutes before exploding with a fireball that shot flames 600 feet into the air, witnesses said.
