Embattled Community College Chief Resigns
From Times Wire Reports
Embattled Marin Community College District Supt. and President Jim Middleton’s resignation has been accepted by district trustees.
Board President Frank Parnell said that Middleton told the board of his plans to leave and that the board accepted his resignation Tuesday. Middleton remained impassive as the announcement was made. In April he received an overwhelming vote of no confidence from the faculty.
Middleton is a candidate for the top post at an Oregon community college.
