Man Critical After Being Shot at Home in Pierpont

A 43-year-old man was shot early Saturday during an argument at his home in the city’s Pierpont area, officials said.
William Vorburger was in critical but stable condition after surgery at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, a nursing supervisor said.
Vorburger was shot about 12:15 a.m. while arguing with two men and a woman at his home in the 1300 block of Camden Lane, police said.
All three, who are considered suspects, fled after the shooting, Ventura police said.
