Knight Arrested for Alleged Parole Violation
For the second time in less than a year, rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight has been arrested for allegedly violating his parole, authorities said Sunday.
The 37-year-old founder of Death Row Records was arrested Friday at about 6 p.m. and booked at Los Angeles County Jail. Authorities did not release any further details about the circumstances of Knight’s arrest.
Attorney Robin Yanes, who represents Knight, said he has received no information from law enforcement officials about his client’s arrest. Knight is being held without bail pending a court hearing on the matter. He had completed 61 days in jail earlier this year after a state prison board found that he had associated with a known gang member.
