Builder Optimism Tumbles This Month
From Bloomberg News
U.S. home builder optimism plunged this month to the lowest level since the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks as sales and expectations declined.
The National Assn. of Home Builders’ housing market index, a gauge of builder sentiment, dropped to 52, the lowest level since November 2001. That was down from 62 in February and the biggest drop since the group started keeping records in 1985.
