Academy Removes Sign Amid Scandal Inquiry
From Times Wire Reports
Large letters reading “Bring Me Men” that critics say became a symbol of a male-dominated culture at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs have been removed. The sign, above a ramp where cadets formed to march, was taken down under a directive that emerged from an Air Force investigation of a sexual assault scandal at the academy.
At least 56 female cadets reported being sexually assaulted over the last 10 years, and the academy has been criticized for its handling of such cases.
