Clippers Need a Coach, Lakers Need Something
Donald Sterling, it’s time for you to step up. How many golden opportunities have to land on your lap before you take the Clippers to the next level?
You learned from last season that your players don’t perform well when their contracts are in doubt. You learned how quickly your team can go from the NBA’s sweetheart to once again the doghouse. Now after a shortened Laker postseason, with a still young and talented roster and the lure of the West Coast, the best coach you ever had is available. Do the right thing, get Larry Brown back.
You have a chance to prove to the NBA that you are serious about winning. The Clippers have a chance to wrestle back a part of this town much as they did in the early ‘90s. Bringing back Larry Brown will remind us that it’s still “Hip to Clip.”

Gary Payton? What in the world are the Lakers thinking? Kobe is already the biggest crybaby, ballhog in the league. So why not add a loudmouth, crybaby, ballhog to the mix? Payton is a cancer and has never gotten along with other teammates, or the fans, in the past. What in the world makes the Lakers think he’s going to change now?
Signing Payton would be a disastrous mistake, and only add to the dissension already brewing in the Laker locker room.

An already thin Laker team loses two key performers. The Sacramento Kings lose their best player. The Dallas Mavericks lose their best player and now the New Jersey Nets’ best player has a sprained ankle.
Never in NBA history have the seas parted as they have for these San Antonio Spurs. There’s only one thing left to do. Get that asterisk ready!
