Bolshoi Told to Change Position on Ballerina

Russia’s Labor Ministry ordered the Bolshoi Theater to reinstate ballerina Anastasia Volochkova, who was fired two weeks ago amid allegations that she was too heavy to lift.
The ministry said her dismissal was illegal. The Bolshoi did not immediately react.
Volochkova, a stylish 110-pound blond, was fired amid a contract dispute and the weight claims. She said her dance partners had never complained.
