Mixed ratings results for ABC
ABC’s gay-themed comedy, “It’s All Relative,” drew a respectable audience in its premiere Wednesday night, but the network’s highly publicized new drama, “Karen Sisco,” scored disappointing ratings, according to Nielsen data released Thrusday.
“It’s All Relative” attracted more than 10.8 million viewers at 8:30 p.m., and held on to most of the audience from its lead-in, “My Wife and Kids.” But “Karen Sisco,” which drew 9.6 million viewers at 10 p.m., lost nearly a million viewers in its second half hour.
NBC’s “The West Wing” continued to demonstrate improved strength, and CBS’ “The King of Queens” made an impressive showing in its move from Mondays to Wednesdays, attracting 13.7 million viewers in an hour-long outing. The season finale of Fox’s “Paradise Hotel” also held its own during the 9 p.m. hour.
