Vandals Desecrate Holocaust Memorial

Vandals spray-painted anti-Semitic slogans on a Holocaust memorial at a Jewish cemetery in the northwestern city of Ioannina, the second desecration of the site in recent years, police said. Jewish community leaders renewed calls for stronger police protection of the burial ground and a nearby synagogue.
Two years ago vandals damaged graves at the cemetery.
