2 Palestinians Killed; Jewish Settler Injured
Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians in separate incidents, Palestinian witnesses and medics said. Palestinians said a 12-year-old boy had been playing in the Balata refugee camp in the West Bank city of Nablus when killed, while Israeli sources said soldiers shot at a Palestinian throwing petrol bombs.
On Israel’s boundary with the Gaza Strip, Israeli soldiers shot dead a Palestinian and found an explosive device nearby, the sources said. Also, Palestinian gunmen claimed responsibility for wounding a Jewish settler near the West Bank city of Jenin.
