A Tragic Hollywood Lesson

Many lessons can be gleaned from the story of ex-gang leader Robert Leon, not the least of which is that idleness and financial distress can lead to bad ends (“Wrong Place. Wrong Time. Wrong Ending?” by Celeste Fremon, Aug. 24). Perhaps if his employment on films had not dried up, with productions moving to Canada, this story would have had a happier ending.
