GIRLS’ GOLF

Dos Pueblos shot 189 at Glen Annie last week, nearly eclipsing its Southern Section record of 188 set last year. Peninsula has broken 200 three times and has shot 200 twice in its six matches. The Panthers also shot 384 in an 18-hole tournament earlier this year. Don’t be fooled by the 248 Palm Desert shot last Wednesday -- the Aztecs played without four regular starters to give other players varsity experience. Palm Desert shot 208 and 207 with its top lineup in its other two matches last week.
