* Brian Bird, Thousand Oaks: Pitched a two-hitter, striking out nine, and Ian Brown hit a three-run home run for the No. 13 Lancers in a 9-2 Marmonte League victory over No. 25 Moorpark.

* Cason Burwell, Villa Park: Hit a three-run home run that ended a 4-4 tie in the fifth inning for the No. 1 Spartans in a 9-4 Century League win at Tustin.
