Burned Body Found in Back of Stolen Car

The badly burned body of a man was discovered in the back seat of an allegedly stolen car early Wednesday, officials said.
The body was burned beyond recognition, Orange County coroner’s officials said.
The body was discovered at 12:20 a.m. in the 200 block of Jackson Street after firefighters extinguished the flames, said Sgt. Carlos Rojas.
The 1991 Camaro had been reported carjacked about 1 a.m. Monday near Harbor Boulevard and McFadden Avenue.
Police believe the two incidents are related but have no suspects.
