Grammys return: The 47th annual Grammy Awards will return to Staples Center on Feb. 13 and be broadcast on CBS. The awards were in Los Angeles last year, but occasionally move to New York.

He’s the boss: The Ballet Pacifica, Orange County’s only resident professional dance company, has appointed Thomas J. Gulick, formerly with the San Francisco Opera, as its first executive director. And in New York, Clive Gillinson was chosen as executive and artistic director of Carnegie Hall, effective next July.
