People Trump Shrimp
Re “Shrimp Pose Big Problem for LAX,” Aug. 15: Has our world gone mad? We have shrimp in fetid pools at the end of an LAX runway and people are actually discussing seriously how to keep the species from going extinct?
Is the safety of tens of thousands of people less important than the survival of this species?
By the way, didn’t the City Council, just last week, allow officials to issue citations for standing water because of the West Nile virus?
