Student Shot by Youth on Bicycle, Authorities Say

An 18-year-old student was shot Tuesday by a youth on a bicycle after leaving Frontier High School, authorities said.
The student, whose name was not released, was being treated for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at 1:54 p.m. at 9401 S. Painter Ave., about a quarter-mile from the high school.
