Baltimore Sun Fires Award-Winning Editor
The Baltimore Sun fired Pulitzer Prize winner William K. Marimow as editor and senior vice president and replaced him with Timothy A. Franklin of the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel.

“It’s the publisher’s prerogative to choose an editor whom the publisher wants to work with. In this case, the publisher exercised that prerogative, and I respect that,” said Marimow.
