Be True to Yourself

Although her frustration at the demands placed on high school seniors is palpable and justified, Emma Cofer (Voices, Jan. 10) still has a few fundamentals to learn about college admissions, especially in regard to writing personal statements. In order to get an A-plus in personal statements, along with the fat admissions envelope, she needs to learn this lesson: Strive to be yourself. Admittedly your best self, but yourself.
