‘Real World’ case dropped
From Associated Press
No charges will be filed in the case of a woman who claimed she was raped on the set of MTV’s “The Real World,” the San Diego County district attorney’s office said.
A 22-year-old woman, who was not a cast or crew member on the popular reality show, told police in November 2003 that she believed she was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance of a cast member.
Paul Levikow, a spokesman for the district attorney’s office, said Wednesday there was insufficient evidence to prosecute. No arrests were ever made.
