Deputies Discover Man’s Body in Shallow Grave

A man’s body was discovered in a shallow grave behind two abandoned homes in Lancaster, the Sheriff’s Department said Monday.
Officials said the man was shot and had been dead for several weeks. His identity and age were not immediately determined. Deputies responding to an anonymous tip found the body in the 47000 block of 42nd Street around noon Sunday, Deputy Luis Castro said.
