Cruise gets producer award
Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner of C/W Productions will receive the Vision Award from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television and the Producers Guild of America. The award will be presented Thursday at the UCLA Producers Marketplace competition, held at the Writers Guild of America West Theatre.
The award is given to producers whose careers are “distinguished by the highest standards and whose body of work exemplifies quality, persistence and integrity.”
Cruise and Wagner have produced such films as “The Last Samurai,” “The Others” and “Shattered Glass.”
