Easter Eggs With Aspirin Put in Park

Police found 10 plastic Easter eggs laced with extra-strength aspirin in a children’s park in Irvine on Wednesday.
Because they were scattered in an area frequented by small children, police said they have concluded that there was malicious intent.
The eggs, each containing jellybeans and 10 aspirin tablets, were found in Northpark Square, a private community park at Pacific Crest and Amargosa.
Investigators urged parents to beware of similar items elsewhere.
