Man Hospitalized After Being Shot by Police
From Times Staff Reports
Los Angeles police responding to a domestic violence call shot a man in the stomach Wednesday night after he displayed a knife, Police Sgt. Cory Palka said.
Two officers responded to the call in the 7800 block of Baird Avenue, Officer Jason Lee said. The officers were not injured.
The man, who is in his 40s, was hospitalized in critical condition, Palka said.
