Undercover Police Seize 10,000 Pounds of Pot
Undercover officers discovered 10,000 pounds of marijuana stacked on pallets and loaded in cars in a warehouse Thursday night, Long Beach police said.
Officers working as part of the multi-agency Los Angeles Impact Narcotics Task Force found the drugs about 7 p.m. in the 1100 block of De Forest Avenue, Long Beach Police Sgt. Paul LeBaron said.
“I’ve talked to two guys who have over 20 years of law enforcement experience between them and both of them said this is the largest seizure they’ve ever seen,” LeBaron said.
Several suspects have been arrested, LeBaron said.
