DUCKS TONIGHT
at Columbus, 4 PST
Site -- Nationwide Arena.
Radio -- XTRA (690), XTRA (1150).
Records -- Ducks 28-32-10-8; Blue Jackets 22-42-8-4.
Record vs. Blue Jackets -- 1-1-1.
Update -- The Blue Jackets had better look over their shoulder -- Washington and Pittsburgh are creeping up on them -- or they’ll end up with the worst record in the NHL. There may be better days ahead for the Ducks, who were officially eliminated from playoff contention Thursday. Forward Corey Perry had five assists in Game 2 and three more in Game 3 of the London Knights’ Ontario Hockey League playoff series. Forward Ryan Getzlaf has scored two goals for the Calgary Hitmen in their Western Hockey League first-round playoff series. Both are junior players who have a shot at making the Ducks next season. The Ducks signed forward Curtis Glencross, an unrestricted free agent, from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
