After he tries to win the $6-million Dubai World Cup with Medaglia d’Oro, trainer Bobby Frankel will be looking for a graded stakes sweep in California.

Frankel will send out Megahertz, expected to be the odds-on choice, and longshot Mandela in the $150,000 Santa Ana Handicap at Santa Anita, plus Snorter, a contender in the $100,000 Berkeley Breeders’ Cup Handicap at Golden Gate Fields.

Megahertz is even-money on Jeff Tufts’ morning line and she towers over her seven rivals in the Santa Ana, a Grade II at 1 1/8 miles on turf.

She will be a single for a lot of people in a pick six with a carry-over of $86,181.

Consistent since she arrived from Europe, the 5-year-old Pivotal mare will be seeking her 10th victory in 24 starts and her sixth in nine tries on the Santa Anita grass.

With regular jockey Alex Solis busy with Pleasantly Perfect in Dubai, Victor Espinoza will ride Megahertz for the first time.

Snorter will be making his first start in a stakes in the Berkeley, a Grade III at one mile.

Since coming to California, the 4-year-old colt has won two of three starts -- both victories over the main track.

Russell Baze will ride against a field that includes Wolfwithintegrity, Yougottawanna, Gold Ruckus, Jets Fan and Taste Of Paradise.

Race of the day: She’s The General, who has won two in a row for trainer Rafael Becerra, is among nine 3-year-old fillies scheduled to go a mile in the $250,000 WinStar/Sunland Park Oaks at Sunland Park in New Mexico.

One for the road: Sapodilla debuts for high-percentage trainer Frank Laboccetta, Jr. in the ninth race at Aqueduct, a $35,000 claimer for older fillies and mares at six furlongs.

The daughter of Out Of Place, who was claimed for $25,000 on Feb. 25, figures to move up with the stable change.

Exotically speaking: A pick four using Top Spinner and La Sorpresa in the seventh, High Thunder, Classic Form, Four Corners and Moonlit Moment in the eighth, Megahertz in the ninth and Star Of Luxury, Honoring Opal, Lastchancetodance and Fresh Hot Buns in the 10th.

Winners: Previous day/meet total: 2/194. Money: Previous day/meet total: $19/$1,030. Total money bet: $1,148.
