There are certain inevitabilities in life. Death, taxes and Mark Heisler’s annual open letter to Clipper owner Donald Sterling.

If Sterling, for 20 years the inept pilot of the NBA’s most rudderless ship, is far beyond reason, then Heisler is in the same boat. Why waste time (and column space) on one of the worst lost causes in sports? As if Uncle Don was listening in the first place!
