Streak Hits 74 for May, Walsh

The top-seeded team of Misty May and Kerri Walsh extended its winning streak to 74 matches to win the Assn. of Volleyball Professionals’ event at Austin, Texas.
May and Walsh defeated Annett Davis and Jenny Johnson Jordan, 21-17, 21-12. It was the 13th consecutive pro beach volleyball title for May and Walsh.
On the men’s side, Jake Gibb and Adam Jewell Scott upset the top-seeded team of Todd Rogers and Sean Scott, 21-12, 21-18 for their first title.
