Service for Senator
A memorial service will be held Thursday in Lancaster for state Sen. William J. “Pete” Knight (R-Palmdale), who died Friday of leukemia at age 74.
The service is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Lancaster Baptist Church, 4020 E. Lancaster Blvd. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 2200 E. Ave. S in Palmdale.
