Over the wall
Velvet Revolver smoked the Roxy on Sunday night. Those who scored tix to the last-minute show by the rock ‘n’ roll super group, composed of Stone Temple Pilot’s Scott Weiland and Guns N’ Rose’s Slash, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan, as well as Wasted Youth’s Dave Kushner, included Christina Applegate and hubby Jonathan Schaech, Jerry Cantrell, Ron Jeremy and the boys from Hoobastank. While treating fans to various STP and GNR numbers, Weiland hopped off the stage and performed atop the wall separating the floor from the seating area.... This just in: Tempest nightclub in WeHo just added Aireoke to its Monday night menu. That’s right, you play air guitar while singing karaoke (in other words, Air Guitar + Karaoke = Aireoke).
